Amarone

Amarone della Valpolicella is one of Italy’s most distinctive and revered red wines, produced in the Veneto region of northeastern Italy, just north of Verona. It comes from the Valpolicella Classica and surrounding zones, a series of rolling hills and valleys influenced by the nearby Lake Garda and protected by the Lessini Mountains. These conditions provide excellent airflow and a favorable climate for both grape ripening and the traditional drying process that defines Amarone.
