Arneis

Arneis is a white grape native to Italy’s Piedmont region, particularly associated with the Roero hills northwest of Alba. Once nearly extinct, Arneis has seen a revival and is now valued for producing aromatic, medium-bodied wines with notes of pear, peach, almond, and white flowers. Known as the “little rascal” for its difficulty in the vineyard, Arneis is typically made in a dry, unoaked style that emphasizes freshness and subtle texture.
