Muscat of Alexandria

Muscat of Alexandria is an ancient, late-ripening member of the Muscat family, traditionally grown in warm Mediterranean climates for wine, raisins, and table grapes. Known as Zibibbo in Sicily and Muscat Gordo Blanco in Australia, it produces intensely aromatic wines with orange blossom, ripe peach, citrus, grape, and spice, ranging from dry to richly sweet and fortified.
