Prosecco is a sparkling wine from northeastern Italy, made primarily from the Glera grape, with production centered in Veneto and Friuli-Venezia Giulia and top examples coming from Conegliano Valdobbiadene and Asolo DOCG. Usually produced by the tank method, it is known for light body, fresh acidity, lively bubbles, and flavors of green apple, pear, peach, citrus, and white flowers.
