Sémillon is a white grape known for its waxy texture, moderate acidity, and flavors of lemon, pear, herbs, and honey as it ages. It is central to Bordeaux’s dry and sweet wines, especially Sauternes, and also produces distinctive, long-lived styles in Australia’s Hunter Valley.
